Walk to nearby Camp Ellis Beach where the jetty causing the erosion is located. The Ferry Beach Park Association is a few blocks to the north. From the screened-in deck, views of Wood Island Light and Two Lights at Cape Elizabeth can be seen across the open roadstead, known as Bahio de Saco, where the last of the five masted schooners wrecked in 1903,the captains wife was found dead on the beach not far from here. Fish off the beach or on the Saco River. Near the boat ramps, kayaking, bike trails, and nature trails. Try the water slide in Saco. Visit the University of New England.
